22nd Annual Auction Gala

Dear Friend of Bishop Canevin High School,
Bishop Canevin’s 22nd Annual Auction Gala – “A Toast to Bishop Canevin Sweethearts” – will be held on Friday, March 8, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency Pgh. International Airport Hotel. This evening will combine both silent and live auctions with gourmet dining. This elegant event is the school’s grand social gathering of the year and will bring together hundreds of alumni, past/current parents, community leaders, faculty, staff and friends of the school. This year’s event will specifically honor those Bishop Canevin alumni who “tied the knot” after having dated during their high school years!
We would love to have you or your business represented at our Auction Gala. As alumni from the Bishop Canevin Class of 1981, we kindly ask your generosity in sponsoring this event. In order to make it a grand success, we would be honored if you could assist us through your generosity with a tax-deductible gift to be featured at the event. Your donation of item(s) such as gift certificates, household goods, electronics, sporting event tickets, autographed memorabilia, professional services, etc., will greatly help us surpass our fundraising goal. (Items with at least a $25 value are appreciated).
Through the support of the auction, Bishop Canevin High School is able to provide an outstanding education to our students who come from over 35 neighborhoods throughout the Greater Pittsburgh area.
Please carefully complete the enclosed donation form. This will ensure that you receive proper acknowledgement and if you are a business, some well-deserved publicity. Unless you request otherwise, we promise that your donation will be properly recognized in our various promotional channels:
* Your company name and gift will be listed in the printed and online catalog.
* Your company name and gift will be listed on our school website (www.bishopcanevin.org and http://auction.bishopcanevin.org ) and will remain there with a link to your website for approximately one year.
* Approximately 250 - 300 guests and untold numbers of absentee bidders are expected, all of whom are potential customers and clients.
We ask that you return the enclosed form as soon as possible but no later than Friday, February 22, 2013. Donors submitting gifts prior to this date will be listed in the auction program. Gifts received after that date will have to be recognized in the program’s addendum.
